BOTOX?
Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin® are neurotoxins produced by the bacterium Clostridium A. Botulinum toxin that can relax the muscles on areas of the face and neck that cause fine lines and wrinkles associated with facial expressions or facial pain.
Botox is injected into different parts of the face, including; around the forehead wrinkles, crow's feet, sagging eyebrows and more to create smoother, younger and more rejuvenated-looking skin.
HOW DO
BOTOX Injections Work?
The different types of neurotoxins in BOTOX injections work by blocking the signal sent from your nerves to your muscles that prompts them to contract.
When injected into specific treatment regions it prevents the signal from reaching the muscle, preventing it from moving and subsequently allowing the region to relax and/or the fine lines in the region to soften.
